The Club is a nonprofit, member supported public affairs forum that hosts a variety of programs including speeches, debates and discussion on timely and topical issues. To accommodate our members, we offer programs at many different times and in many different locations, with the majority of our events held in San Francisco.
Our South Bay members enjoy programs and activities at the Commonwealth Club/Silicon Valley. Commonwealth Club/Silicon Valley continues to develop programs that address issues pertinent to the Silicon Valley community. East Bay programs have included Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown and author/political analyst George Stephanopolous. In addition, The Club hosts programs in Marin and Sonoma Counties.
We are also proud to introduce INFORUM. INFORUM is a division of The Commonwealth Club by and for people in their 20s and 30s, with a mission to inspire debate around civic issues. INFORUM is just over two years old and already has 2,500 members. Please contact INFORUM Director Caroline Moriarity-Sacks (cms@commonwealthclub.org) to find out more.
Joining The Commonwealth Club opens up a whole new world of learning opportunities and the chance to interact with not only today's headline makers, but with fellow highly informed and involved citizens.
