National Membership is a category of membership offered to those who are interested in supporting The Commonwealth Club, but who live outside of the nine San Francisco Bay Area counties in which access to Club headquarters is easy. If you live in California, but outside of the nine Bay Area counties, National membership is the right choice for you too. In recognition that these members will not be able to participate in live meetings of The Commonwealth Club regularly, we offer a special membership rate of $60. Please note that National members do receive all the benefits of membership, including:
- Our award-winning magazine, The Commonwealth, which features transcripts of Club speeches
- The satisfaction of supporting the nation's oldest and largest public affairs forum
- All of the regular member benefits, including free attendance to programs on Mondays and Wednesdays at Club headquarters if you happen to be in the San Francisco area
