Ambassador Michael McFaul: From Cold War to Hot Peace
Michael McFaul served as the seventh U.S. ambassador to Russia from 2012–2014 and is one of America’s leading scholars with unparalleled insights into the Russian Federation.
He offers his thoughts on U.S.–Russia relations, election interference and President Trump’s relationship with President Putin.
McFaul also has been barred by President Putin from visiting Russia and gained worldwide attention over the summer when President Trump gave consideration to President Putin's request to have the U.S. government forcibly make McFaul available for questioning by Russian security services.
