Pathways to Peace: Through the Lens of Interfaith Youth
Our young panelist will present his views on what might bring peace and reconciliation to our troubled world where young thinkers and activists such as Malala, the youngest recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, are still powerful inspirations.
The panelist , raised in a Jewish-Muslim family whose members observed both Bar Mitzvahs and the Haj, believes that forgiveness can be applied to different interfaith contexts, based on religious stories shared in the Abrahamic and other faiths that encourage such forgiveness. For his Bar Mitzvah, he spoke about applying forgiveness to build peace in the Middle East, between Israelis and Palestinians, and elsewhere.
