We Raise Our Glass to Good Health! Virtual Annual Gala and 2021 Distinguished Citizens Awards
Please save the date of Friday, November 19 from 6–7 p.m. PDT for The Commonwealth Club’s virtual gala and 2021 Distinguished Citizens Awards. The awards are presented to individuals whose contributions to society have had a positive and enduring impact, and who embody the goals and ideals of The Commonwealth Club’s commitment to an informed and engaged citizenry.
This year, We Raise Our Glass to Good Health and recognize the dedication and resiliency of seven UCSF physicians who have safeguarded the health of our community and kept the Bay Area one of the safest regions of the United States. Additionally, we celebrate the health innovations of biochemist Jennifer Doudna, Ph.D. for her revolutionary work in the field of CRISPR gene editing.
We invite you to tune in and raise your glass to the good health of these distinguished citizens and celebrate the leadership of women in science and medicine. Be part of a virtual event to support The Commonwealth Club, an organization that uplifts the good health of public discourse and good information.
