Bay Lights Mixer: Celebrating Earth Day
Please join us for our Bay Lights Mixer: Celebrating Earth Day, where art and community come together on the Embarcadero waterfront. Experience four floors of art happenings, live musicians, performances and more by San Francisco Bay Area artists. This event pays homage to Mother Earth for providing the substance for human existence and survival. We show our gratitude to her with respect, love and devotion through forms of creative expressions. With open arms and a warm embrace, we thank her. In addition, the event will give acknowledgment to April being National Poetry Month.
Event Highlights: Counterpulse Drumming Circle, Folk Guitarist Marc Coleman, Poetry Readings, Pop Up Art Display by Recology and local artists, The Music Climate Project, Special presentations by San Francisco Department of Environment, Green Action and Scraps/BioLink Depot, Counterpulse recycle and reclaim materials assemblage workshop, live painting/drawing, sketch artists and more. Check out the Club’s current exhibitions All that Glitters and Sculpture of the Pacific Rim.
