Soaring Into the Future. Distinguished Citizens Awards Annual Gala
Join us on Thursday, October 12, for our 2023 Annual Gala, celebrating this year's Distinguished Citizens and supporting The Commonwealth Club and our past 120 years of powerful nonpartisan conversations.
We are excited to celebrate five outstanding community advocates who embody the theme of Soaring into the Future: Celebrating Resilience and Innovation through incredible acts of service and longstanding leadership. With this theme, we recognize the contributions of leaders and humanitarians who continue to uplift our communities in innovative and revolutionary ways. Their generosity of spirit strives to boost and improve the livelihood of the communities they serve, becoming pioneers in their fields and sources of hope and inspiration.
The 35th Annual Gala
The Annual Gala is the Club’s most important fundraising event of the year and is the philanthropic community’s opportunity to support its civic and nonpartisan mission.
The evening will be a celebratory and multifaceted awards ceremony and gala party! At one of San Francisco’s most spectacular venues—our very own beautiful headquarters on The Embarcadero.
The evening will kick off with an interactive awards ceremony with live remarks from our honorees and a musical performance. The celebration continues with a multi-level and multifaceted party with live music, entertainment activities, and catering served by Paula Le Duc, with a menu inspired by local flavors and seasonal ingredients.
