AI and Art: Interactive Experience
We are excited to invite you to an immersive exploration of AI and art! The program—"AI and Art: Interactive Experience"—features four floors of AI and art activation, AI-artist presentations, and a panel discussion on the possibilities and issues surrounding AI in art. This event is geared toward adults, youth, college students and to artists and non-artists.
The program kicks off with a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring diverse perspectives on opportunities and concerns regarding AI and the art world, including potential impacts on creative expression, changing nature of art and aesthetic, and human artist roles. The art activation will include pop-up AI/art demos by Gray Area, guest AI/art presenters: Adam Chin, Peter Consagra, Nate Payne, Brett Amory and Peter Hirshberg and also featuring AI generated poetry, AI-generated videos by Adam Chin and Amelia Winger-Bearskin, AI-generated music, a special AI art exhibit by Brett Amory, and more.
Distinguished panelists, representing realms of art, technology, and academia, include Alexander Reben, Abby Chen, Michele Elam, and Amelia Winger-Bearskin; moderator Hugh Leeman, art history lecturer at Duke University and Johns Hopkins University; and panel host, Larry Ebert, musician and senior instructor, Leadership and Innovation, Golden Gate University, research-writer: AI and the arts.
