Families Separated at the Border: What Is Happening to Them?

Meet and hear from two attorneys involved in representing immigrant families separated and in border detention centers.

Kristina McKibben is an immigration attorney in Sacramento who specializes in removal defense, humanitarian relief, and detention work. As a Central Valley native, Kristina has always had a passion for the underdog. Jason Sias is a Los Angeles native and attorney with expertise in civil rights cases and post-conviction relief. His work includes safeguarding clients from immigration consequences and seeking justice for victims of police misconduct. Jason earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and is a member of the California and Louisiana state bars.
