Since 1975, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has listed the grizzly bear as “threatened,” with the goal of recovering the animal’s range and helping populations recover. Today, the federal government may soon remove grizzly bears’ protection under the Endangered Species Act, allowing people again to trophy hunt grizzly bears across the United States. Join in a discussion with Wilkinson, Mangelsen and Hamilton about what will happen to the iconic animals if the destructive and threatening sport of trophy hunting is revived.
